Aqua Fashion

As you may or not know the team at NF have decided to enter in some sprint triathlons this summer and one of the primary concerns is what to wear.

From Swim to Bike to Run we want to waste as limited time as possible in transitions whilst still being able to wear the most functional (and hopefully aesthetically flattering) ensemble as possible.

SHOP OUR FAVORITES >>>

Whether you prefer the tri suit option, one piece and adding shorts, or opting to flash the abs in a sports bikini  2 piece here are our picks for the season for amateur triathletes to the seasoned professional.

It can be daunting figuring out what to wear, pack etc. Don't be afraid to look up websites for tips and tricks. You should have worn the outfit at least once prior to the day to minimise the chance of a wardrobe malfunctions; check it doesn't ride up, slide down when you swim, stretch when wet, rip, support you in the right areas, cause any chaffing etc. Personally I have competed in Full Wet suit Steamers, One Piece Swim Suit adding shorts and singlet, my first triathlon was in a Nike pro Short/Crop combo in the end its all about what your familiar and comfortable with. I spent 5 mins trying to pull shorts over because i was wet in the end i said screw it and kept going in the nike combo. There will be also sorts of athletes competing on the day in a variety of suits and that may work for them but make sure your outfit works for you. If your bigger busted don't be afraid to opt for a base crop under your chosen suit or adding another layer for the bike run. Some people opt for freedom in as little clothes as possible but if you are concerned about the jiggle you can add a layer once your out of the water (but also remember everyone else is focusing on a. their game plan, b. not crashing. c.not dying so will not be critiquing your wobbley bits and if they are screw em you're out there giving it all you got).

Also don't forget to check you've got a Swim Cap, Goggles, Your bike has cleets (so you need another pair of runners to change into for the run) or swap bike to wraps.
